Membership terms

01Who can join

Membership is free and open to anyone aged 18 or over who gives accurate details. We ask for your date of birth at sign-up to confirm this. One account per person.

02What membership includes

• A member price on products in the shop, applied automatically in the basket while you are logged in.
• Your orders and downloads kept together, so you can download purchases again.
• Optional guide emails telling you when new guides go live.
• Members-only checklists and worksheets when we publish them.

03How the member price works

The member price is shown in your account and applied to eligible products in your basket before checkout. It cannot be combined with other offers unless an offer says so. The member price is for your own purchases: please do not buy on behalf of others to pass the discount on.

We may change the member price or which products it covers. Changes will not affect orders already placed.

04Guide emails

Guide emails are off unless you switch them on. You can turn them off in your account or through the unsubscribe link in any email. Account and order emails are sent regardless, because they are part of the service.

05Looking after your account

Keep your login details private and your email address up to date, so you can receive order emails and reset your password. Tell us if you think someone else has used your account.

06Closing or changing membership

You can ask us to close your account at any time. Your order records are kept for as long as tax law requires, as explained in our privacy policy. We may close or suspend an account that breaks these terms or our terms of use, or that has been inactive for a long time, after telling you first where we can.

We may change or end the free membership programme. If we do, we will tell members first and you will keep access to products you have already bought.
