Affiliate Choice is free to read. Part of what pays for it comes from affiliate links and partnerships. This page explains how that works, in line with the ASA's CAP Code and the Competition and Markets Authority's guidance.
01Affiliate links
Some links on the site are affiliate links. If you click one and then buy something, the merchant may pay us a commission. It does not change the price you pay. Affiliate links may be to individual merchants or through networks such as Amazon Associates, Awin and similar programmes.
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
02How we choose what to mention
We mention products, programmes and merchants because they are relevant to the topic and useful to the reader, whether or not they pay us. Commission rates do not decide what we include or how we describe it, and we include programmes we have no relationship with where they are the better fit.
03Sponsored content and partnerships
If a brand pays us or gives us something in return for featuring it, we label that content clearly, for example as an ad, sponsored or in partnership with. Paid placements never appear as independent recommendations.
04Our own products
We also sell our own products, such as Profit Packs and business plan templates. When we recommend them, we are recommending something we benefit from directly, and we say so.
05Accuracy
Commission rates, prices and programme terms change often. We check them when we write and update guides, but please confirm the current terms with the merchant or programme before relying on them.
06Questions
If you think something on the site is not clearly labelled, please tell us through our contact page and we will look at it straight away.
