Questions people ask first

Short, honest answers. There's more in the FAQs and the glossary.

Can I make money from a hobby without a website?

Yes. Many of the routes in our guides start with a social account, a local service or a marketplace listing. A website helps later, once you know what’s working.

Do I need to know about affiliate marketing?

No. Affiliate marketing, recommending products and earning a commission, is one route among several. Each guide shows the options for that topic, including services, selling and content.

Which topic should I start with?

One you understand well enough to keep going for a year. Then check that people spend money on it and that there’s a realistic way for a beginner to earn from it. Each guide covers both.

How much can you earn?

There’s no typical figure and most people earn little in their first months. Income depends on the topic, the route you choose, the time you put in and how long you keep going. Anyone promising a number is guessing.

What’s the difference between a guide and a Profit Pack?

The guide explains the opportunity and is free for everyone. A Profit Pack is a paid starter kit for that topic, with the plan, templates and tools you’d otherwise build yourself.
